12 years in the times top 50

For 12 years, The Times newspaper has published a list in conjunction with Business in the Community of the Top 50 Employers for Women. For 12 years, Enterprise has featured on this list, which is a remarkable achievement. What is it that makes Enterprise such a great place for women to develop their careers? We asked women who have joined Enterprise during these past 12 years to share their insights on what has helped them to progress within the company.

I’ve had the question, why do you work at Enterprise, you just rent cars? It’s much more than that! You can travel anywhere with Enterprise. Enterprise is a good place to work, especially for women, you never feel like you’re left out at any point.

Chynna | Branch Manager

You have the exact same opportunities as anyone else, you’re on a level playing field, you know exactly where you stand on and what you need to do in order to get promoted, whether you are male, female or a minority.

Neesha | Area Manager

To any woman starting a career at Enterprise I would say believe in yourself, don’t be afraid to set goals, really work hard to achieve them, reach out if you need help.

Olivia | Management Assistant

Whether you’re a man or a woman, as long as you’re hitting your targets, as long as you’re performing, they’re going to pick the best people for the role.

Jessica | Branch Manager

Enterprise gives a lot of support to everybody, whether that be an initiative outside of work or an idea that one of my team has, this is something which is unlike any other company that I’ve seen before.

Vic | Clubhouse Manager

You need to be diverse, people from different backgrounds, from different environments come with different ideas, I’m thankful that Enterprise as an employer understands that.

Laura | Area Manager

It was amazing to be promoted after two weeks! I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity and it was good fun.

Hannah | Branch Manager

Enterprises gives you the autonomy and they are so transparent through the levels of management, you feel you are part of the company from day one and you are exposed to high management, to all different roles through the company.
