Attracting BAME talent
In 2017, to celebrate being named on The Times’ Top 50 Employers for Women for the 12th consecutive year, Enterprise launched the ‘Women Thrive at Enterprise’ advertising campaign. This showcased 12 of the many women from across our business who help the company to succeed.
It was such a success that we decided to extend the campaign with a focus on attracting BAME talent to celebrate being a Top 50 company for the 13th year.
Over the last year, we’ve hired 1200 students into our business, of which one third were BAME. The new campaign focuses on supporting Enterprise in attracting talent through partnerships with more that 100 UK universities.
Quick Stats
- 36.5% increase in our BAME employee population in the past four years
- 24% increase in BAME professional hires in the last year
- 88% of hires from non-Russell Group universities
We’ve produced new on-campus materials as part of our ongoing BAME recruitment efforts. These will include posters, pull-up banners, internships brochures and many other materials – complete with our new employer brand. In the coming year, over 70% of our campus materials will profile BAME students in the business. The campaign will also be featured on our website, profiling Enterprise employees sharing their unique experiences.
